Watauga's varsity football game scheduled for Friday night at Ashe County has been postponed until Monday at 7 p.m. in West Jefferson. The Watauga varsity soccer game scheduled for Friday night at home against Avery has been postponed.The jayvee soccer game was postponed while in progress. No make-up date has been announced.
Watauga's jayvee football game Thursday night with Ashe County was postponed until next Thursday at 7 p.m. because of lightning in the area. Watauga leads Ashe County 8-7 in the second quarter. The game will be played at Jack Groce Stadium.
