                                              Experience in the area of Expeditionary Learning or project-based learning is preferred. North Carolina            licensure in Elementary Education is required.
                          6th grade Teacher Position
Two Rivers Community School (a NC Public Charter School) is looking for a hard-working, energetic 6th grade teacher for the 2013-2014 school year. The position will be for a self-contained 6th grade classroom. Applicants with licensure in K-6 or middle school content areas are welcome to apply.

                    Spanish Teacher Position

Financial Manager

Mountain Heritage Systems has immediate need for a financial manager who can                         effectively manage day-to-day functions, responsibilities, and personnel that comprise its accounting department.

Responsibilities include: Direct all accounting functions related to billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Oversee daily cash management activities. Monthly bank and credit account reconciliations. Control/manage 3rd party payroll service. Oversee proper inventory management and product costing.

Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.                              Experience in general ledger accounting is required. Experience as controller, assistant controller, or as accounting manager is a plus. Experience with Sage50 (Peachtree) is                          desirable.

Position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and              supervising activities at the Lois E. Harrill Senior Center, as well as coordinating some programs for both senior centers.           Position also supervises the Congregate Nutrition Program, is the SHIIP Coordinator for Watauga County, and oversees the SCOPE certification process. Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in gerontology,     psychology, sociology, social work, health promotions, or related field and considerable experience in organized senior citizen programs is required.

Salary Grade 12, $36,495. County benefit package includes health insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.

TWO PART TIME POSITIONS

The Children's Council is seeking to fill two different contract positions to facilitate grant funded parent support program through the Department of Health and Human Services. Part-time, contracted positions to facilitate weekly evidence based programs (Circle of Parents and Incredible Years) to identified families. Approximately 8-15 hours per week. Responsible for program recruitment, planning, and all necessary paperwork related to grant requirements. Participate in weekly supervision with program staff. Adhere to best practice standards. These positions are for a 3 year grant contract and applicants should be able to carry out the terms of the contract.

Pay range $20.00 - $30.00 per hour BOE.

Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human service field with Master's degree (MSW, LCSW, LPC, MFT etc.) strongly preferred.
