LAKE NORMAN -- Watauga's girls' lacrosse team fell to No. 1 ranked Lake Norman 21-5 Saturday.

Lake Norman held an 11-4 lead and then outscored the Pioneers 10-1 in the second half to secure the victory. Watauga got three goals from Taelor Critcher, and a goal from Courtney Kapral and Katie Marks.

Watauga goalkeeper Keirsten Henson made six saves. Watauga plays at West Forsyth on Wednesday.
