CONOVER — Watauga’s girls’ junior varsity claimed a 34-20 victory over Fred T. Foard Wednesday.

Maddi Brown led the Pioneers with nine points. Brooklin Carroll scored seven points and Rachel Foutz scored six for Watauga.

Watauga’s boys’ junior varsity lost 50-36 to Foard. The Pioneers fell behind 23-12 at by halftime after the Pioneers did not score any points in the second quarter.

Utah Jones led the Pioneers with 12 points and six steals. Aaron Dobbins scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds, while T.J. Poulos scored six points and dished out seven assists. Michael Ebaugh added six points and four rebounds.
