Kostis steps down as Watauga softball coach

Stephanie Kostis has resigned as head coach of the Watauga softball team.
Kostis resigned her post last week. She also sent a letter of resignation to her players.
Kostis was 27-52 during her four-year tenure with the Pioneers. She teaches math at Watauga High School.
She also played collegiately at Appalachian State.
Kostis is the second coach this season to resign. Watauga girls' soccer head coach Brittany Bolick resigned to take an assistant coaching position at Appalachian State.
