Junior League All-Star game moved to Saturday

Watauga's Junior League All-Star team will play a doubleheader with Wilkesboro at Wilkesboro's Cub Park at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The best-of-three series to decide the District 7 champion was scheduled to be at Boone's Optimist Park, but inclement weather forced the cancellation of games since Wednesday. The teams will try to play two games Saturday. It was unsure where or when the third game would be played if the teams split their doubleheader.
There has also been no word about rescheduling the Little League All-Star game between Watauga and Morganton. Those teams were supposed to play Thursday and Friday, but inclement weather forced the game to be postponed.
