SPARTANBURG, S.C. - If the Southern Conference coaches and the media that covers the league are correct, Georgia Southern will leave the league with a conference championship.

Both groups predicted the Eagles would win the 2013 Southern Conference championship, which was announced Wednesday at the SoCon's media day. The Eagles picked up 15 first-place votes in the media poll and six top votes in the coaches poll.
