Appalachian State Rod Chisholm had surgery Sunday on his injured hand he hurt in Appalachian State’s 35-13 loss to East Carolina Saturday.

Chisholm, a fifth-year senior from Charlotte, is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Defensive back Doug Middleton injured his ankle, but underwent further evaluation Sunday. His status may not be known until Monday.
