ASU to play at Marshall

After defeating Harvard, 93-71, in the http://CollegeInsider.com Tournament first round, Appalachian State will head north to Huntington, W. Va. to renew an old Southern Conference rivalry with Marshall in the tournament's quarterfinal round. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on Monday.
The Thundering Herd (24-9) defeated Western Carolina on Tuesday in its first round game, 90-88. Marshall opened the season on a 15-2 tear and tied for third in Conference USA.
Appalachian (23-12) has faced Marshall 49 times and trails 32-17 in the all-time series. The squads last met in 2005-06 in Boone, as the Herd won a 64-60 decision.
Other quarterfinal pairings will see Fairfield travel to Creighton, Northern Colorado host Pacific, while Missouri State will face either Southern Miss or Louisiana Tech.
The winner of the Southern Miss-Louisiana Tech will determine the site of their quarterfinal match-up. If Southern Miss wins, Missouri State will travel to Southern Miss. If Louisiana Tech wins, Missouri State will be at home.

Tickets can also be purchased in person by visiting the Cam Henderson Center Ticket Office prior to tip-off Monday. The Marshall Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for lower reserved seats, $11 for upper reserved and $10 for general admission.
