William Odell Culler
William Odell Culler, 91, of 6104 Howard's Creek Road, Boone, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
Mr. Culler is survived by his wife ,Celia C. Culler of the home; two sons, Dewey Culler and wife, Anne, and Jamie Culler, all of Boone; two sisters, Ruby Jones of Boone, and Carolyn Miller and husband, J. D., of Sophia; and one brother, Estel Culler of Boone. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services for William Odell Culler were conducted Monday afternoon at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were the Rev. Arvil Hardy and the Rev. Mike Townsend.
Burial followed in the Culler Cemetery. Military graveside rites were provided by American Legion Post 130 and color guard provided by DAV Chapter 90.
