Reba Mast Williams
Mrs. Reba Mast Williams, 84, of Hite Williams Road, Zionville, died Friday, May 25, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Williams was born March 4, 1928, in Watauga County, a daughter of the late Roe F. Mast and Muriel Greene Mast. She was a retired employee of IRC/TRW, and a member of Mabel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Dan Williams and wife, Nancy, of Boone; one granddaughter, Hannah Williams of Boone; two grandsons, Ben Williams of Boone, and Dr. J. Tyler Williams and wife, Christy, of Johnson City; one great-granddaughter, Ada Joy Williams of Johnson City; two great-grandsons, Issac Williams and Elliott Williams, both of Johnson City; and one sister, Bina Mast Tester and husband, Arlis, of Vilas. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hite E. Williams; two sisters, Jewel Smith and Iva Dean Henson; one brother, W.D. Mast; and two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Smith and Dick Henson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Mast Williams were conducted 2 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012, at Mabel United Methodist Church. The body lay in state, at the church, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The Rev. Katherine V. Cornell officiated. Burial followed in Cove Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Hampton Funeral Service. At other times, friends may call at the Williams' residence, 129 Hite Williams Road, Zionville.
