Joshua Michael Rominger

Mr. Joshua Michael Rominger, 18, of Advance passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Brenner Children's Hospital after losing his battle with synovial cell sarcoma.

Josh was born Jan. 21, 1995, in Forsyth County to Michael Lee and Denna Hanks Rominger. He was a member of Mocks United Methodist Church and a senior at Davie High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Warren Rominger and George Richard Hanks. Surviving are his mother and father; sister, Jennifer Rominger; maternal grandparents, Barbara Halley Hanks and Dale Murphy, and paternal grandmother, Lois Yates Rominger.

A funeral service was held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Hillsdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Taylor and the Rev. Greg Lewis officiating. A private burial followed at Mocks United Methodist Church Cemetery.
