Rescue workers and law enforcement responded to a vehicle accident shortly after noon Saturday on N.C. 105 in Foscoe.

The accident happened near the intersection with Grandfather Farms Road and stopped traffic in both directions for some time.

WINGS Air Rescue was called in to assist at least one patient.

No further information was immediately available Saturday afternoon.
