WinterFest returns to Blowing Rock
by Jeff Eason
Not everyone in the South is able to enjoy winter, with snow and ice and dangerous driving, like the mountain-dwellers do.
For the past 15 years, folks in the mountains have been kind enough to share their unique winter situation with people from all over during Blowing Rock’s annual WinterFest celebration.
The event, presented by the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for Jan. 24-27 and promises to be the biggest and best one yet.
