A woman listed as missing in a silver alert issued by law enforcement was found in Watauga County on Monday.
According to the Watauga County Sheriff's office, local authorities became aware of Brenda Gail Holebrook's whereabouts after a caller reported a man and woman walking along U.S. 321 north.
The 41-year old woman was reported missing in Winston-Salem late Sunday; the silver alert was issued on Monday.
Holebrook was believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Checking in on the report of the two individuals on U.S. 321, a Watauga Deputy found that the man was wanted by law enforcement and the woman, the subject of the silver alert, also had arrest warrants.
The deputy took them both into custody.
