Two people were taken to Watauga Medical Center on Friday
morning after an unoccupied car rolled into the road and hit their vehicle.
The wreck happened just before 9 a.m. when a Buick Century parked outside Appalachian Exxon rolled into the N.C. 105 Extension and hit a Subaru waiting to turn left.
The driver of the Subaru, 24-year-old Cierra Greene Murphy, and 3-month-old Tinley Murphy were taken to the hospital by Watauga Medics, according to the police report.
It's not clear what caused the parked vehicle to roll. The vehicle was owned by Carol Jean Cook of Boone.
