Two-part free Women's Mini-Conference on budgeting and finances starts Oct. 20

WAMY Community Action Inc. and OnTrack Financial Education and Counseling Services of Asheville are partnering to present a two-part Women's Mini-Conference on budgeting and finances.  

The event will be held at the Watauga County Agricultural Conference Center, 252 Poplar Grove Road in Boone. 

Part I -- Budgeting and Credit Fundamentals will be held  from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Oct. 20.

The topics that date are Budgeting 101 and Got Credit?  Getting it.  Keeping it. Improving it.

A follow-up class, Part II -- Planning for Your Financial Future, will be offered at two separate times: from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 or from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. 

Participants may register for one or both weekends (attending either Friday or Saturday of the second weekend).
