Six arrested on drug charges

A joint undercover narcotics investigation between the Boone Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Ashe County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit led to the arrest of six suspects. 


Richard Alshaud Foster, 19, of 113 Sherry Lane, Boone, was charged with conspiracy to sell marijuana, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Foster's bond was set at $5,000 secured.


Laura Foster Furr, 21, of 113 Sherry Lane, Boone, was charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Furr's bond was set at $3,000 secured.


George Nicholas Foster, 20, of 515 Junaluska Road, Boone, was charged with conspiracy to sell marijuana, possession with intent to sell, and delivery of marijuana, and the sale and delivery of marijuana. Foster's bond set at $5,000 secured.


Tyler Steven White, 18, of 515 Junaluska Road, Boone, was charged with conspiracy to sell marijuana, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and the sale and delivery of marijuana. White's bond was set at $5,000 secured.


John Wesley LaCue, 29, of 309 Junaluska Road, Boone, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to sell marijuana and one count of simple possession of marijuana. LaCue's bond was set at $5,000 secured.


Thomas Britton Clark, 37, of 139 Patton Lane, Boone, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a counterfeit controlled substance (methamphetamine) and the sale of a counterfeit controlled substance (methamphetamine). Clark's bond was set at $5,000 secured.

All are scheduled to appear in district court on April 23.
