Six additional drug arrests reported at Music on the Mountaintop

The Watauga County Sheriff's Office has released the names of six additional people arrested on drug charges last weekend at Music on the Mountaintop.

 

The music festival was held Friday and Saturday at the fairgrounds on Roby Greene Road.

 

Jacob Dauth Dickson, 20, of 131 Clipper Bay Drive, Alpharetta, Ga., was charged with possession of marijuana up to 0.5 ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule III controlled substance, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

 

Amanda Nichole Vance, 21, of 229 Cranberry Creek Lane, Zionville, was charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or distribute a schedule III controlled substance, sale and delivery of a schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

William Ellis Leggett, 19, of 7 Deer Path Road, Charlottesville, Va., was charged with possession of marijuana up to 0.5 ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.

 

Christopher Keith Mauney, 23, of 1416 Opal Court, Raleigh, was charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.

 

Bernard Keith Paris, 29, of 1231 Marlborough Road, Fayetteville, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Patrick Martin Tobin, 19, of 2240 Fray Road, Ruckersville, Va., was charged with possession of marijuana and resisting an officer.


Officers also issued several misdemeanor citations for drug offenses, the press release states.
