Raleigh man dies after fall Sunday

A 52-year-old Raleigh man died Sunday morning after falling and hitting his head on a rock at the Echota community on N.C. 105 in Foscoe.
Jefferson D. Morgan, of 1308 Swindon Court, Raleigh, was with his wife when he fell down a bank into a rocky area behind the condominiums on Ridge Haven Parkway, said paramedic Kevin Norris of Watauga Medics.
The man had already died when rescuers arrived on scene, Norris said.
