Police seek chain saw thief

High Country Crimestoppers is seeking information about the
theft of a chain saw from a Boone store last week.
At approximately 5:15 p.m. Jan. 8, a white man wearing a black hoodie entered Lowes Home Improvement and stole a Poulan 50 cc, 2-cycle, 20-inch chain saw, according to police.
He exited the store and drove off in a red 1999-2000 model Oldsmobile Alero with a spoiler.
He was accompanied by a white man and white woman.
Anyone with information about this crime or any other is asked to call Crimestoppers at (828) 268-6959 or the Boone Police Department at (828) 268-6900.
All information will be kept confidential, and Crimestoppers pays rewards for information that leads to arrests, recovery of stolen property, seizure of drugs or the location of wanted persons.
