Police seek Santa thief

Police are seeking a man who stole an animated Santa Claus
decoration from a Boone business last week.
At approximately 1 a.m. Dec. 6, a man approached the SunLife Sunrooms and Spas on N.C. 105 and removed the decoration, according to High Country Crimestoppers.
The young suspect was spotted on surveillance video wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants with a light-colored stripe down the leg. He had dark hair, according to police.
Anyone with information on this crime or any other is asked to call Crimestoppers at (828) 268-6959 or the Boone Police Department at (828) 268-6900.
All information will be kept confidential, and Crimestoppers pays rewards for information that leads to arrests, recovery of stolen property, seizure of drugs or the location of wanted persons.
