Opposed to Syria strikes

A recent poll of 600 voters conducted Sept. 6 to 9 by Raleigh-based Public Policy Polling finds that most North Carolinians oppose a missile strike in Syria, which President Barack Obama says is necessary following Aug. 21 chemical gas attacks. A majority -- 62 percent -- of respondents oppose U.S. military action in Syria, while 19 percent support action and 19 percent are not sure, according to the poll.
