NWS: Ice in forecast Friday

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg, Va., has issued a winter weather advisory for freezing rain and sleet for Watauga, Ashe and Alleghany counties and counties in southwestern Virginia from 2 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
Ice accumulations up to .10 inch and sleet accumulations of less than one inch are possible. Temperatures are expected to be between 29 and 32 degrees overnight and warming above the freezing mark by mid-day Friday.
