Man injured in fall from roof

A man was injured Thursday afternoon in Blowing Rock after
falling from a rooftop.
According to radio transmissions from dispatchers, the victim was a 51-year-old man who fell approximately 20 feet from a roof, suffering a head injury.
Watauga Medics responded to the area of 213 Ridgetop Drive, located off U.S. 221, around 1:45 p.m.
A medical helicopter landed in a Blowing Rock ballfield to transport the injured man.
