The cards were reported stolen from a residence and then used at various Boone businesses. Sapiel was already in custody at the Watauga County Detention Center as a result of a Jan. 26 arrest warrant.

He is scheduled to appear in district court on March 11 in lieu of a $5,000 secured bond.

Sapiel is scheduled to appear in district court on March 18 on charges of felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, misdemeanor breaking and entering and second degree trespassing.

Additional charges to be heard on March 11 include possession of drug paraphernalia, a brake light violation and driving without an operator's license.
