Kentucky earthquake felt in High Country

Effects of a 4.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Eastern Kentucky at about noon Nov. 10 could be felt in several areas of the High Country, including Ashe and Watauga counties, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to USGS, the earthquake could be felt as far as Atlanta, Ga., about 247 miles from its epicenter in Kentucky.
