Electronics stolen from Walmart

High Country Crimestoppers and the Boone Police Department are seeking information about a man who stole electronics from Walmart in Boone.
On Oct. 12, the white man entered the electronics department and removed four Apple iPads and two Apple iPods from the cabinet, according to police. Surveillance video showed him leaving the store and getting into the driver's seat of a white, four-door passenger car, which left toward Blowing Rock Road.
Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at (828) 268-6959 in Watauga County or (828) 737-0125 in Avery County. They also may call Boone Police Department at (828) 268-6900.
All information will be kept confidential, and Crimestoppers pays rewards for information that leads to arrests, recovery of stolen property, seizure of drugs or the location of wanted persons.
