Crimestoppers seeks info on purse theft

Watauga County Crimestoppers and the Boone Police Department
are seeking information about a purse-snatching at Walmart in Boone.
A woman's purse was taken from a shopping cart in the parking lot on July 3, according to police. One of the victim's credit cards was later used.
The occupants of a vehicle seen in surveillance footage are wanted for questioning in the incident, according to police. The vehicle is a turquoise Ford pickup with matching camper shell.
The driver was a white man wearing a dark ball cap, yellow short-sleeve button-down shirt and jeans. The passenger was a white woman with brown hair in a bun, wearing a red-and-white tank top and red shorts.
