Closings and delays for Tuesday, Feb. 26
Watauga County Schools will be closed for students and
teachers. The snow day program at Hardin Park will not operate.
A make-up day will be held on Saturday, March 2 unless schools are closed for inclement weather Friday. Saturday school will be on an early release schedule, with K-8 dismissing at noon and WHS at 1 p.m. Pre-K classes will not be held Saturday.
Two Rivers Community School will be closed for staff and students. The make-up day will be May 27.
Appalachian State University classes before 11 a.m. have been canceled. An update will be issued online at appstate.edu at 9 a.m. if weather conditions change.
