Census forms on the way

by Scott Nicholson

U.S. Census forms are about to hit local mailboxes, with billions of dollars in federal spending at stake.
The 2010 Census questionnaire will arrive at local households from March 15 through 17.  The 10-question form comes with a postage-paid envelope and is the simplest way to participate in the Census, which is required every 10 years by the U.S. Constitution.
This is the easiest way to participate in the census that takes place every decade, as required by the U.S. Constitution.
Local Census Manager J.P. Greene said people would get an advance mailing to let them know the form was coming and that promotion of the forms would take on a blitz level. Enumerators will have to personally visit homes that have not returned Census forms.
