Several friends, family and local citizens gathered in front of Watsonatta Western World in Boone, February 17, 2012 at 7 p.m., for prayer, fellowship and a candlelight vigil in honor of Dara Lee Watson. Mayer Loretta Clawson expressed her condolences and people brought flowers and cards in honor of Dara. There was also a candlelight vigil held in South Carolina the same night.
