More than 300 Pioneers marched into the future Saturday morning, as Watauga High School said goodbye to its Class of 2014.

Graduation ceremonies were held at the Holmes Convocation Center on the Appalachian State University campus.

Special speakers included Meredith Farthing, senior class president, speaking on "Reflections"; Patrick Williams, student body president, "What's Changed?"; Sidney Wiswell, valedictorian, "Defining Success for Yourself"; and Klay Anderson, WHS teacher of the year, "What's Really Important."
Principal Marshall Gasperson give the official declaration of graduation.
