Breakfast to benefit woman with heart failure
by Staff Reports
Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living will host a breakfast fundraiser from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday to benefit a High Country native awaiting a heart transplant.
Jessica Fournier, 27, was recently diagnosed with advanced heart failure, and the fundraiser will assist her and her family with the medical costs she is facing.
The breakfast will include homemade biscuits and gravy, eggs, country ham, bacon, sausage, potatoes, baked apples, juice and coffee. Each plate is $8.
The event is open to the entire community, and all money raised will go directly to Fournier for payment of medical bills.
