Boone Police reports

Aug. 26
Larceny from coin-operated machines was reported at 11:25 a.m. on the 500 block of Horn in the West Drive.

Aug. 27
A simple assault was reported at 12:25 a.m. on the 1400 block of N.C. 105.
Larceny was reported at 1:37 p.m. on the 500 block of Meadowview Drive. A bicycle was reported stolen.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Blowing Rock Road in response to a person refusing to return keys.
Arrests: Tommy Robbins, 41, of 707 Mt. View Church Road, Deep Gap, was arrested at 2:14 p.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Stephanie Harvey, 43, of 1417 N.C. 105, Apt. 6, Boone, was arrested at 6:38 p.m. on charges of no operator's license, fictitious registration plate and larceny by shoplifting.

Aug. 28
Brendan Smith, 20, of 6012 Turkey Farm Road, Chapel Hill, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. on charges of driving while impaired, stopping on a right-of-way and a provisional license violation.
Joseph Bishop, 22, of 901 Lystra Lane, Chapel Hill, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. on charges of driving while impaired and an expired registration.
Don Sutton, 42, of 805 Mt. Olive Church Road, Newton, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. on a charge of drunk and disruptive behavior.
Joseph Connell, 32, of 144 Winter Drive, Boone, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. on a charge of trafficking opium and/or heroin.

Aug. 29
Criminal damage to property by vandalism and tampering a motor vehicle were reported at 10:55 a.m. on the 300 block of Oak Street.
Larceny was reported at 11:24 a.m. on the 300 block of Meadowview Drive.
