Biker injured at Rocky Knob Park

A biker was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday evening after a bike wreck at Rocky Knob Park.
A man in his early 20s crashed on the trails around 6:25 p.m., causing him to be knocked unconscious and suffer cuts and bruises to the face and swelling around his right eye, said Craig Sullivan, director of Watauga Medics.
A medical helicopter landed near the scene to shuttle the injured biker to help.
No further information was available Wednesday about his condition.
