Thank you for prayers, help
Since our son, Seth's, lawn
mower accident on April 13, we have been overwhelmed at the amount of love
shown to our family from so many people.
We have had numerous amounts
of people praying for us, and for that, we thank you greatly. Mabel School
staff and parents welcomed us home with an overflowing basket of food and
supplies, Mabel United Methodist Church held a benefit yard sale on May 5, the
High Country Horse Club held a benefit horse show on June 2, Antioch Baptist
Church held a benefit singing on June 10 and community members of the Bethel
area held a benefit breakfast on July 14 at the Beaver Dam Volunteer Fire
Department.
There were many area churches,
businesses and individuals who donated money, merchandise for the benefit
raffle and their time. We do not have the words to convey our appreciation to
the many family, friends, neighbors and unknown individuals for all they have
done for our family.
The monetary donations have
and will help immensely toward Seth's medical expenses. All the prayers have
meant so much and have helped carry us through. We pray the Lord blesses each
person for their efforts and acts of kindness. Seth has done well overall. He
is scheduled for surgery to do bone grafts on his unhealed index finger and
thumb on Aug. 9.
We still have a long road of
recovery ahead, but God's grace has been and will be sufficient. It
really helps when you are surrounded by a wonderful community, and live in the
High Country where people truly care. May God bless you all is our prayer.
Jimmy, Sheila and Seth Greene
