Take responsibility, not chances
This is in response to
the letter, "Tragedy waiting to happen" (Aug. 1).
First, all the cars on the
public road U.S. 321 are getting out of hand -- they now tape off where they
will sit to watch the fireworks and line up any way they want. If the police
should do anything (not close one lane), they should put a stop to this madness
on our highways.
Tweetsie
Railroad provides parking for a small fee; if there is an accident
waiting to happen, it is not their fault or of our law enforcement.
If you want to take a chance
on the highway, go for it, but let's not be closing any roads or lanes for
people who do not seem to care.
Next, they will be
suing Tweetsie if they get hurt running back and forth.
As for tragedy waiting to
happen, if it does, it's your own fault.
