My one encounter with Jerry Moore was at a recent High Country United Way donor meeting. Jerry is a campaign co-chairman this year. I was impressed with him both as a person and as a motivational speaker. Because of his inspiration, I decided to increase my United Way contribution this year. I can only guess at his positive impact on our Appalachian State University football players and all the others he came in contact with.
