WHS band benefit concert still on
The WHS Band Boosters bluegrass concert and chili dinner benefit is still on for tonight despite the closure of schools.
The event begins at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at WHS's Ross Auditorium.
The dinner will feature music by Surefire and Carolina Crossing. Dinner starts at 5 p.m., followed by concert at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for dinner and $5 for the concert and are available in advance by contacting Angie Caraway at (828) 789-9575, or they can be purchased at the door. Donations are appreciated and are tax deductible.
