The second annual Media Challenge Blood Drive sponsored by Mountain Times Publications, Charter Media and High Country Radio held July 13 at Watauga High School collected 170 units of blood during a time of urgent need for the American Red Cross. As thanks for giving blood, several lucky donors received raffle prizes at the event.
