Moose Lodge Poker Run benefits Hospice Saturday

Boone Moose Lodge 1805 will host a poker run benefiting High Country Hospice this Saturday, Sept. 15, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The cost to ride is $20 per person or $30 for a couple, which includes a t-shirt, dinner and entertainment. All vehicles are welcome.

The ride will last about four hours and includes a stop for lunch along the way. Prizes will be awarded for the best and worst poker hands.

High Country Hospice is a nonprofit home health care organization that has provided home health services to the terminally ill and grief support services to families in Watauga, Ashe and Alleghany counties for more than 30 years.
