Pictured from left are Executive Director Melissa Selby, ACT Impact Team member Rebecca Burwell, MLK Challenge chairwoman Ava Whitehead, clinic volunteer Kay McGowan and ACT Associate Director for Community Service Kate Johnson.
Each year, ACT coordinators the MLK, a day of service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Students and community members collected donated items from area businesses and others and later offered them for sale in a silent auction, raising $915.67 for the Community Care Clinic. Students selected the clinic as the beneficiary of the silent auction proceeds.
