Hospice to hold community memorial service

Medi Home Hospice of Watauga County
(formerly High Country Hospice) will recognize National Hospice and Palliative Care Month with a
memorial service for local families who have lost loved ones in the last year.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at First Baptist Church of Boone's auxiliary chapel in honor of anyone who has died between October 2012 and October 2013.
The National Honor Guard will present the colors in honor of fallen veterans, and the First Baptist Church choir will provide special music. Hospice staff will offer a message of hope, and light refreshments will be served afterward in the church fellowship hall.
Anyone who has suffered loss in the past year is welcome to attend.
