According to organizers, the schedule is subject to change, although all activities should conclude by 5 p.m.
According to SAHA, performers of all ages are welcome to audition, although minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
"We are thrilled to begin the process of seeking a new cast for our 2014 season," said Katy Cook, public relations director at SAHA, in a news release. "Local auditions enable us to find talented individuals in our community who will join us in retelling the legacy of this mountain region."
"Horn in the West," written by Kermit Hunter and performed every summer since 1952, follows the plight of mountain settlers during the Revolutionary War, focusing on the heroic efforts of the Stuart family and the legendary Daniel Boone.
The show is presented annually at the Daniel Boone Amphitheater off Horn in the West Drive in Boone.
In 2014, "Horn in the West" will run from late June through mid-August.
