BeanStalk Theatre to present 'The One and Only Santa Claus'
by Staff Reports
BeanStalk Community Theatre presents its holiday production, "The One and Only Santa Claus," at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, and at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, at Harvest House.
Tickets can be purchased at Andrea McDonough's State Farm Insurance office, 450 New Market Blvd., Suite 1, Boone, and at the door one hour prior to each performance.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $5 for those 18 and younger.
Refreshments and a holiday gift baskets raffle will be available each night.
"Set as a TV talk show, hosts Yul Tide and Crystal Flake narrate and bring us on-site reporting a series of hilarious and heartwarming skits," theater officials said. "As the TV crew and reporters try to track down the elusive St. Nick and their Christmas spirit, we meet many unusual characters, elves and other holiday characters (some fluffy with big ears) along the way. And what's a talk show without commercial breaks? While the show unfolds, actors perform original commercial sketches. This performance is family oriented, kid tested, and BeanStalk spectacular."
Founded in the fall 2012, BeanStalk Community Theatre is the only community theater actively producing shows in the area.
Dedicated to serving the needs of the community with each production, BSCT is a volunteer nonprofit organization run by Andrea McDonough, executive director, and Amy Beane, creative director.
